Kazi Morshed Alam is a development professional over 12 years of experience in managing, designing, implementing and monitoring programmes/projects related to livelihood, food security & nutrition, Water,Sanitation&Hygiene and Emergency Support programme in various region of Africa and in Bangladesh. His area of expertise in Programme design & Implementation, Partnership Development, Emergency Response, Result based Programme Management, Capacity Building, Program & Project Management, M&E and Documentation, Resource Mobilization and Team management that includes in different International Organizations and in African region focusing on Extreme poverty, Livelihood, health, Education, TB & Malaria, Maternal & Neonatal health, Child protection, Water, Sanitation and Emergency Support project. Hehas deployed in different emergency situation in Ethiopia during Sudan Referendum and in Liberia. He is an accomplished Project/Program Management & Capacity building Professional with wide range overseas and in-country experience that include heading senior managerial positions. In this process, he has managed major donor funded projects and programs for UN Agencies (WFP, UNICEF, UNDP, and UNOPS), and for ADB, EU, USAID, DFID, GIZ and The Global Fund. (GFATM). He has obtained Masters in Social Science (International Relations) from University of Dhaka. He has received numerous formal and professional training in programme/project management, financial management, planning & budgeting, mobile/web-based programme monitoring system. His international journal “mPMIS: An intelligent digital monitoring system of Payment by Result Approach” was published in 38th WEDC International Conference in Loughborough, UK in 2015.
